In the 11 years that the MCU has been around, it gave us 20 movies, and now it is commendable to have a failure rate of 0% in all their 20 movies. The films produced by Marvel were critically and commercially successful. These movies have developed as the fans are now getting new and more original content with every film that releases. Of course, there are a few similarities, but very few, and most of the elements in the movies are unique and different. But nothing in this world is actually perfect, and the neither is the MCU. The universe has been super guilty of making many mistakes over the past few years. Although the films were great, the knit picking game always makes its rounds. 1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier – Fury’s Death
There was nothing really wrong in the movie, and it had been termed as one of the best films in the MCU. But we can say that there was one thing that took the fans by surprise-Nick Fury’s story arc. As the marketing of this film had revealed a few scenes that did not take place in this film until his death happened, it was very obvious that Fury was just faking his death and had not really added anything to the film.
2. Captain America: The First Avenger – Low Intensity
The very first Captain America film was a great entry in MCU’s Phase 1, but it was not really as intense as the movies that preceded it. The World War 2 plot was really interesting, but when we compare this to the thrillers and also the action sequences that the previous two films had, the movie surely did fall short.
3. The Avengers – The Opening sequence
The Avengers is a great team up film even now. It had almost everything, but one thing that just did not live up to the mark was the movie’s opening action sequence. Loki’s arrival and the car chase scene was mediocre when we compare it to the rest of the movie.
4. Doctor Strange – Making Stephen too unlikable!
Dr. Stephen Strange had been portrayed as a pretty much spoiled and arrogant brat, and he seemed to be forced into becoming a person with good behavior. The film did not give any good message to the children. According to the movie’s plot, it had shown that one could become a Sorcerer if the person is a brat and replies to people arrogantly.
5. Guardians of the Galaxy – The final act
When it comes to Guardians of the Galaxy, we can all agree that it was an innovative movie. It really did feel different from anything that we had seen with. But what was mediocre in the movie was the final act where the spaceships were battling, but the Dance Off was something completely new. Honestly,
6. Captain America: Civil War – Not spending time on the motivations
The movie, Civil War was a very different one from had actually happened in the comic books. The movie was supposed to justify the plot of War, and so it felt weaker. A few of the motivations amongst all the characters had not really been explained properly.
7. Avengers: Age of Ultron – Not giving the story the time it needed
It is very safe to say assume that as much as we all really loved the action sequences of this fil, it was a mess in quite a lot of area. Ultron needed a much more proper explanation, but his motivations were pretty vaguely explained. This movie could have actually had 10-15 minutes of extra screen time.
8. Black Panther – Making the supporting characters more strong
The movie, Black Panther, had given us a great set of actors, and they performed really well. Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa was at times even overshadowed by the performances of Shuri Okoye and many other characters. But he had a lot of strong moments in this film.
9. Avengers: Infinity War – Not giving screen time to many characters
The movie, Infinity War had a lot more to do with most of its characters. While this film had stretched the story arc of Thanos, Thor, and Iron Man it did not really spend time on Black Widow, Captain America, and the Hulk.
10. Thor: The Dark World – Having a totally shi**y script
The film movie is the worst film in the MCU, keeping the visuals apart. The script did for this movie did not really give anyone much to do except for making all the actors spell some scientific Mumbo Jumbo.
