The world of Marvel Comics have bad guys who eventually became good guys and ensured that justice prevailed. But while flipping things around now, we can see that there are have been superheroes who became bad and are known as villains. This is a pretty good way to take a good yet boring hero and transform them into very interesting villains.
Here, we have for you 10 super-heroes who turned into villains:
10. Wonder Man
Wonder Man had taken on the Avengers in the very first arc of the volume of this title. When Cap had asked Wondy to join them, he had said that he thought that the very concept of the Avengers was bad. He then goes on to assemble a group of D-list heroes to take on the Avengers, but then, Iron Man soon captures him, and he adds that he is maybe imaginary.

9. Iron Man
He has succumbed to the dark side a few times. Iron Man had taken up an antagonist role in Civil War, when the time-traveling, Immortus took over his entire brain, and then, a teen Tony Stark had to quickly take over as Iron Man for some time.

8. Hal Jordan
Yes, he is on the good side again, but during the -’90s, Hal went on to kill entire Green Lantern Corps, and he then destroyed Coast City. He returned to life in the comic books and was possessed by the evil demon, Parallax.

7. Jean Grey
Jean Grey had started off as a very sweet and nice telepath. She was very helpful to her fellow mutants. But then, this character had died and then she had come back to life many times- sometimes in an evil form and at times, as a good person.

6. Maxwell Lord
This character had his run-ins with a few villainous computers and then, in the end, turned out to be good. He then went ton to shoot and then, Wonder Woman broke his neck, and the entire universe had gotten rebooted. He was then brought back in Brightest Day and was a bad guy.

5. The Hulk
This character’s turn toward the evil side has not happened yet. But this will surely happen hundred years from now. Hulk might actually survive but not without the Green Goliath going megalomaniacal. With Bruce Banner’s intelligence and his super strength, he has declared himself as The Maestro, and he will become the ruler of the world.

4. Terra
This character was bad for the entire run of the Teen Titans, and the Titans never realized this. Terra had been introduced as a new member, and she was feeding all the information to Deathstroke. She then went on to become her own end.

3. Hobgoblin
The Green Goblin used to be a good person, but it was not Osborn in the suit, it was the Daily Bugle reporter, Phil. He had a pretty short-lived series in the year, 1995. Urich then popped up in Runaways and was a member of The Loner. He then ends up turning on his team when one girl he likes kisses his team member.

2. Superboy Prime
Superboy Prime has earned his superpowers when he was encountering the Superman of an alternate dimension. SP had decided to use al his powers for the good of mankind, but the Crisis on Infinite Earths had taken place, so he went on to live in paradise with Golden Age Lois Lane, Superman, and good Lex Luthor. He then got bored of this, and he started punching the entire universe, and he soon became a killer.

1. Scarlet Witch
She and Quicksilver had started out as bad people. They are Magneto’s kids, and they were also in his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. But they were just repaying a debt to their father for having saved their hide. But Witch’s two sons were part of the devil’s soul. Her mentor then makes her forget about them. The character is seen edging her way back into hero-dom, but Scarlet Witch does have a lot of ground to cover.
