The huge rivalry between Marvel and DC is one of the greatest rivalries that existed in the world. But now, this is slowly losing the sacredness as the editors, writers, and also the actors do not really find it digestible to actually cross-over this divide. 1. Jared Leto
Now it has reached a stage where no one can play Doctor Strange other than the actor, Benedict Cumberbatch. The director Scott Derrickson had been forced to look out for a few other options when scheduling issues had come with Cumberbatch-Jared Leto had then been linked to play this role. Jensen had auditioned for the role of Captain America, but he got the role of Hawkeye. He had turned down this offer due to scheduling conflicts. He then got a chance to voice Jason Todd/Red Hood in the animated movie, Batman: Under the Red Hood.
5. Alexander Skarsgard
It is pretty difficult to imagine how Swede Actor Skarsgard must have felt when he did not get the role of Thor. He did not really seem to be the best choice, and the role went to Chris Hemsworth.
6. Emily Blunt
Marvel had approached Emily Blunt for this role, and due to scheduling conflicts with her filming of Gulliver’s Travels, the role went to Scarlett Johansson.
7. Olivia Wilde
The role of Gamora was offered to Olivia Wilde, but she had turned down this role, and the part went to Zoe Saldana.
8. Will Smith
Will Smith did have a chance to play the role of Captain America, and he auditioned for it as well. But eventually, Chris Evans took up this role.
9. Patrick Wilson
Wilson had been given the role of Paxton’s Antman in the year, 2015. But, he was forced to leave due to the scheduling conflicts and this role was taken over by Bobby Cannavale.
10. Charlie Cox
Charlie Cox had an opportunity to play the mischievous villain, Loki but he could not impress the producers, and the role went to Tom Hiddleston.
