For a very long time, the DC Films had been contemplating to create a shared superhero universe, but, things never worked out. After the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it became clear that the scope was there, and very successful. That’s when DC figured out that time had come to create a mega start and launched their shared superhero universe with Man of Steel. While it didn’t really get going with a bang, but, it was a good film anyway. However, the two films that followed created a great divide among the fans across age groups. In fact, things have come to the extent that fans either love DC or hate it. Luckily, the Wonder Woman did wonderfully well and stopped the downslide.
