Doctor Strange as we all know is a very famous fictional hero and appears in the Marvel Comics. He had been created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and made his debut appearance in Strange Tales #110. The character has been serving as the Sorcerer Supreme, the protector of Earth against all mystical and magical threats.
Inspired by all the stories of Chandu the Magician, and black magic Strange had been created during the Silver Age for bringing a different type of character and theme to the Marvel Comics. Doctor Strange’s origin story goes like this- he was a very smart and brilliant surgeon, but he was egotistical. He then had a car accident and this damages his hands and also hinders all his ability to perform any kind of surgery. He then he searches the whole world for a way to repair his hands and encounters the Ancient One, and the rest is history.
If you did not know, Hollywood has really been trying to make a Doctor Strange film ever since the 1970s, and then, the MCU then picked this up. The character had received mixed reactions and had been bracketed with the Ant-Man when it came to the fun element. The actor, Benedict Cumberbatch had played the role of this character, and the movie had featured ChiwetelEjiofor, Rachel McAdams, and MadsMikkelsen. The Doctor Strange film was a huge disappointment, and the character then appeared as a cameo in the movie, Thor: Ragnarok and he had a very important role in the movie, Avengers: Infinity War. Most fans are super sure that he will have a role in the Avengers 4 movie but, when it comes to a solo film for this character, the executives of Marvel Studios have said that they do not have plans for a sequel.
This a little disappointing for all the fans.
