Right from the time Chris Hemsworth had his MCU debut in Thor, he has been a crazy mix of medieval drama and on-the-go comedy. However, it is the comedy that suits him best. Thor had its best moments when Hemsworth displayed the various aspects of Midgard’s life such as traffic laws, pet stores, low-cut denims, and of course, coffee.
He is a God so obviously arrogant, but, he is keen to learn. He is cool and listens to Jane. It is an unusual combination of a divine warrior who is chilled out. It works for Thor because Hemsworth dedicates himself totally.
Hemsworth has done numerous other movies, and it is not as if Thor was his first role or first big role. However, Thor has been his career-defining role that turned him into a star.
Hemsworth is a good actor, but, it is comedy that gets the best out of him.

Before joining the Ghostbusters franchise, Hemsworth said he felt like a wild card. He was a non-comedian in a cast full of SNL stars and other comedy experts. Still, Hemsworth did brilliantly, and he was the reason of the biggest laughs in the movie.
