
There have been so many times when the superheroes are selling way more comics by just dying while battling rather than venturing into new adventures. The very fact that they are heroes does not really mean that they are immortal. In the light of this, we have made a list of deaths of superheroes. Here is a list of 7 DC and Marvel deaths that you can never forget.
1.Peter Parker: Spider-Man, Twice
Parker had met the face of death two times in different universes- once in Earth 616 which is the normal Marvel Universe, and also in Marvel Ultimate Universe. In 2012, Marvel Ultimate Universe’s Peter Parker was shot by the Punisher, and Green Goblin had then killed him. Then Spider-Man of Earth 616 had perished when Doctor Octopus had switched both their minds.

2.Wolverine (“Logan” James Howlett)
Wolverine, as we know, has survived for so long because of the Adamantium in his body. In the year, 2014 in “Death of Wolverine.” he had died. There was a virus, and this had left his healing power useless, and during this time, Wolverine had located the founder of the Weapon X program, Dr.Abraham Cornelius. Then, a fight had started, and he had been was covered in liquid Adamantium, and he could not shake this off, and so he died from suffocation.

3.Barry Allen: The Second Flash
The Flash had died while trying to protect humanity and all the readers had been compelled to see this frame-by-frame disintegration of his face. This was the very first time that a leading superhero met his end in DC.

4.Steve Rogers: Captain America
After the character had surrendered to Iron Man and had then agreed to face a trial, he had been shot down while he was at the steps of the courthouse. Crossbones had shot him with a sniper-gun, and then, the mind-controlled Sharon Carter had killed him.

5.Jean Grey
The villain, Mastermind had full control over her mind, and this had led to the Phoenix being a maniacal creature. It had turned into a very dangerous Dark Phoenix, and this became Jean Grey Summers’ subconscious. Jean mentally tried to get free from this prison, and she eventually got sufficient control and caused a self-destruction.

6.Superman
In the year, 1993, Superman had been killed during a fight with Doomsday. Superman did not die in vain though and he had taken Doomsday down with him. But soon, he came back to life after his body had been regenerated in the Fortress of Solitude.

7.Jason Todd: The Second Robin
The death of Jason Todd was the most disturbing and most violent death in history. The Joker had hammered down Robin with a crowbar, and then as Batman was within the range of saving Robin, there was a huge bomb that exploded and this killed Robin.
