For a very long time this debate has been going on between the fans of the comic books and anime about if the two heroes, Goku and Superman battled each other, which of them would win? Here, we will look at them both and find the answer.
Goku
Goku is capable of enduring long hours of combat courtesy of the training provided by Master Roshi, King Kai, and Whis. Not just that, but, he also has been consistently becoming stronger with each new battle. Courtesy of his Saiyan origins, he has super strength, super speed, martial arts knowledge, flight power, powerful attacks like the Kaio-Ken, Kamehameha wave, the spirit bomb and others. This Saiyan fighter also has the power of instant transmission.
Superman
Superman is almost invincible. He has great sensory powers, heat vision, ice-cold freeze breath, X-ray vision, super strength, super speed, flight and he can also survive in space or any situation. He is capable of fighting an army on his own and is among the strongest DC heroes.
If these two start fighting then one thing is assured: there will be tremendous damage since both of them will hit each other with incredible force, smashing properties and all. They will fall and get back up, but, every time he gets up, Goku will keep getting stronger, and even at the start his strength is a good match for the Man of Steel. Therefore, Superman will have only one option, and that is to shift the fight to space because Goku can’t survive there.
However, Goku might counter that by using his instant transmission power and returning to Earth, or he could attain the Super Saiyan God form and punch Superman back to Earth, and in that case, the only thing we would be able to say would be, “Superman was good as long as he lasted.” The fact is, even Superman doesn’t stand a chance against Goku in his Super Saiyan God form because he can destroy whole planets with a ‘finger snap,’ in that form.
