For many years now, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth have been two of the most important MCU performers. Both actors have played mighty and deep roles until now and have contributed to the expansive growth of the shared universe. Chris Evans is famous for his portrayal of the super-soldier from world war II era aka Captain America. His character is the epitome of human endurance and capabilities. His character’s name is Steve Rogers, and he appears to be an exact replica of the comic book version of Captain America that we love so much.
Whereas the role played by Chris Hemsworth is vastly different. He plays the role of the Norse God of Thunder (revamped by Marvel) and is the personification of a literal God from ancient legends. Thor has been a part of the Avengers for a long time. The character displays sheer force and might of a God and often thwarts various conflicts.
Thor’s powers and Captain America’s capabilities are unmatched, and the two actors also happen to be great individuals in their own space. Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans have been working together for more than ten years now, and even before becoming colleagues, they were very good friends. Therefore, we are not surprised to see an image posted by Twitter page Chris Evans doing things, an image of Evans hugging his costar. The image (which probably originated from behind-the-scenes of an Age of Ultron press conference) features the two actors hugging each other.
What makes this image really funny is the fact that Evans had to stand on his tiptoes to be able to hug his co-star. It is not downright hilarious, but, certainly adorable. The photograph has gone viral on social media and fans are loving this image full of cuteness.
This old image also proves how strongly the MCU cast members bond with each other. They are like a large family and have been working together for so many years that it is unimaginable for someone else to replace them. However, the show goes on. That is how things stand for Captain America aka Chris Evans after Avengers 4. The actor’s character finishes with the fourth Avengers film, and it is expected that the character of Captain America itself will exit the MCU after Avengers 4 hits the big screen. This is what Chris Evans had said about it:
“Well, you know, my contract is over, so that’s as far as I know,” Evans said in March. “[I’ll miss] everything [about Captain America]. I mean, it’s not just the character; it’s the people – the experience, such good movies, such wonderful memories. I’ll miss a lot.” It’s really not up to me.” Evans had said during an interview in 2017, “My contract is up. I’m not going to sit here and say, ‘No more.’ I think Hugh Jackman has made 47 Wolverine movies, and they somehow keep getting better. It’s a character I love, and it’s a factory that really knows what they’re doing. The system is sound, over there. They make great movies. If they weren’t kicking out quality, I’d have a different opinion. But, everything Marvel does seem to be cinema gold.”
To be honest, Evans is not off the mark. One should deboard before getting thrown off, and a good gambler understands when is the right time to stop. The film business is nothing but a huge gamble. While this is all speculative talk for now, and we need to wait for Avengers 4.
