Harry Potter is an iconic series of fantasy novels penned by British author J.K. Rowling. The novels document the life story of a young and gutsy wizard, Harry Potter, and his all-weather friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom used to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main premise of the story is about Harry’s battle against Voldemort, a dark wizard who is chasing immortality and wishes to overthrow the Ministry of Magic that rules the world of wizards. The first novel titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone came out on 26th June 1997, and the books became incredibly popular.
