The story of Captain Marvel started when she was employed with the USAF as a pilot in the 1960s, but, back then she was known as Carol Danvers.
She worked with a person named Dr Walter Lawson, who in reality was a Kree alien called Mar-Vell.
The Kree are a blue alien race with much superior technological and scientific capabilities compared to the humans.
Just like various other great moments from Marvel, Captain Marvel was given the powers courtesy of an explosion.

That was the explosion which saw Mar-Vell shield Carol Danvers with his body, and as a consequence, his DNA got merged with her.
This incident and the various follow-up attempts by Mar-Vell to protect Danvers resulted in her becoming superpowered.
That is how she became Captain Marvel.
The fan site Comic Alliance calls her as the biggest female superhero ever.
By turning into Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers has become a mightily powerful superhero.

Some of her powers include flight at Mach 6, superhuman strength, endurance and the ability to blast energy beams from her fingertips.
She is also an expert pilot and adept in hand-to-hand combat.
Avengers 4 has already established Captain Marvel as the face-saver for the Avengers in the movie.
Some of her powers might be decisive to the outcome of the movie.
One such power is her Binary state.
After attaining the Binary form, she is able to tap into the energy of a “white hole” that gives her complete control and use of stellar energies, and she gets to manipulate heat, the electromagnetic spectrum and gravity.

She is able to travel at the speed of light and can survive in the vacuum of space once she attains the Binary state.
Therefore, this seems to be just the thing that could revive the Avengers’ fortunes.
Reddit is teeming with speculative theories about Captain Marvel’s superpowers and the impact she would make on the MCU and the Avengers’ future.
No matter how she uses her powers, Captain Marvel has a vast range of incredible skills that she can use to help her friends during the crisis.
